time to work again .. i'm such a lazybutt xD well i worked all night long to add the details to the Katana using Worbla. i would say the worj is now 95% finished and nearly ready for painting. but i changed slightly the design of the Tusba, compared to the original inspiration. on the artwork, the Tsuba has 8 Bones around the edge. i have currently no iea how to build 8 nearly identical bones like this, so i left them out for now. maybe i will add them later ... we will see. new photos will be add later. it's time to sleep here :D

woooahh so much time has passed since i started my little Katana project. during this time, i made a second, more simplified Katana for Yuki and i learned a lot about working with wood. and now finaly the main work is done. only realy some tiny bit of shaping and sanding is needed on some parts, but tahts a work of only a couple of minutes :D i'm even happy about how easly the blade slides into the sheath. i know with paint, it's going to be more tight, but i hope i can figure out a perfect way ... pictures will follow soon~

so, the main work on the sword is complete, no i can focus on the sheath, the Saya. after i finished this it ill be time to sand and file everything into shape, removing all teh tiny bumps and mistakes ... good thing i have enough woodfiller. it such a good feeling to see how far i have come. i have to admit that i was lazy too i would be finshed a week ago already but you know ... the mood :D well back to work i guess
